Capital Library in Beijing

Today I returned a book to the Capital Library in Beijing and took out another. The  2-book restriction is cumbersome. I need to be very judicious with what book I decide to take out since I can only have two books out at a time.

Some info about the library:

It is at panjiayuan subway station, line 10 (I should say loop 10 now that the line has come full circle). Take exit C1 and cross the road using the underpass at the exit before proceeding south to the intersection. Library is at southeast corner of intersection.

• Library is open until 7:30 p.m. if I remember correctly.
• deposit requirement is 500 RMB for English books. A passport is required to sign up at which point you will be issued a library card.
• English books are stored in the state-of-the-art, newly refashioned 7th floor of the building.
• Loans are for 1 month. 2 books maximum.
• Book selection is okay. Some titles tend to be outdated (such as computer and Internet books -- I couldn't find anything more recent than 2008). There are also way too many arcane research volumes in the shelves, which I presume noone ever touches. Why are they there?
